Newcastle did have movement in the winter transfer window but they were all outgoings, with n- one arriving to bolster Eddie Howe's squad. It was, perhaps, not a surprise given the Magpies boss has repeatedly told the media that they were unlikely to do any business, but still potentially disappointing for fans given how the side is stretched. The summer window was much more lively and dramatic, as Alexander Isak departed and there was the late arrivals of Yoanne Wissa and Nick Woltemade.
